Behind this glass screen there sits a friend, jpgs & email & files we send. Our troubles we tell, our happy times we share. It means so much {{{{HUGS}}}} & {{{{KISSES}}}} to know you care.

Some people don't understand, they can't begin to know. Bits & bytes & ftp. How are you today? How can you be friends from this far away? I can't explain, only we know. Like blossoms in springtime, our friendship does grow.

I dedicate this page to you my dear friends, for all you've given me...the encouragement, hugs, & smiles. I want you to know that each of you mean the world to me. You are the best thing that's happened to me, behind this glass screen.

I am glad to call you, not just my internet friends, but my very real, true friends. I am happy I'm your friend and you are mine.

G'day my mate Peter. This good looking guy is from Sydney, Australia. Peter visited the United States and stayed here in Florida while he was on a world tour in 1997. This picture was taken in Croatia. Say Bonzer Peter & pass the cheesecake!!! Peter is married to his beautiful Michelle and they have two lovely children, Natalie and Robert.

An Aussie friend from a little town outside of Sydney. We met online many years ago. No roos here Stu, but thank you for taking me on the visual tour thru OZ. The road was a long and windy one, and if it wasn't roos in your way, it was something else. You've come a long way...Keep up the good work.

Photo taken in Australia. This is a very tiny thumbnail, but when you click on it, it grows very large. haha Trust me. Meet my adopted son, Paul and his wife Michelle. Paul and Peter (above) came together from Sydney in the summer of '97 and stayed with me while they were on their world tour. My house was their home away from home and a resting place between countries. When Paul returned home to Sydney, he met Michelle.

Friends Without Faces

We sit and we type, and we stare at our screens.
We all have to wonder what it possibly means.
With our mouse we roam, through the rooms in a maze
Looking for something or someone, we sit in a daze.
We chat with each other, we type all our woes
Small groups we do form, and gang up on our foes.
We wait for somebody, to type out our name
We want recognition, but it is always the same.
We give kisses and hugs, and sometimes flirt
In IMs we chat deeply, and reveal why we hurt.
We do form friendships - but - why we don't know
And some of these friendships will flourish and grow.
Why is it on screen, we can be so bold
Telling our secrets that have never been told.
Why is it we share, the thoughts in our mind,
With those we can't see, as though we were blind.
The answer is simple, it is as clear as a bell.
We all have our problems and need someone to tell.
We can't tell real people, but tell someone we must
So we turn to the puter, and to those we can trust.
Even though it is crazy, the truth still remains
They are Friends Without Faces, and odd little names.
